Cynar is a bitter Italian liqueur (amaro). It is made from 13 herbs and plants, predominantly artichoke, from which the amaro derives its name and vegetal profile.
Cynar is our house shot; If you've been at the bar on a busy night, you may have had one appear suddenly in front of you. Cynar is also used in one of our favourite regulars, Kevin's, favourite drinks: a Little Italy. Rittenhouse is his rye of choice.
