Madrecuishe is a micro endemic (super-localized growth) maguey from the Karwinskii agave family. It produces a Mezcal with excellent minerality, herbal and floral notes. It takes 15 years for Madrecuishe to reach maturity.
Produced in Santiago Matatlan. The Piña are cooked in an underground pit with oak and pine, then tahona milled, and open-air fermented. Copper Pot distilled and bottled at 46%
