
Phenomenal. The product of 11 years' experimentation, leading up to the 2007 lifting of the ban on the sale of absinthe in America. As a result, this bottle was the first out the gate and remains at the top of the pile.
Brandy is infused with wormwood, fennel, and star anise, then distilled. This distillate undergoes a second infusion of mint, tarragon, lemon balm, opal basil, hyssop, and stinging nettles. Voila! Absinthe!
In the glass on its own, or in a cocktail, we find the tarragon and lemon balm really shine to make for a deliciously complex and cooling sip. Get your louche on and simply stir some absinthe in the glass with a single large cube of ice, or go the classic route and slowly combine 1oz of absinthe with a sugar cube and 3-5oz chilled water.
